Entry Fees: Western, Halter, English classes $10; Hunter classes $15; All Medal & Jumper classes $20; Grounds fee - $15 per horse; Office fee - $10 per entry; Mandatory California drug fee - $5 per horse per judge. There is a Scratch fee of $5 per scratched entry: scratches must be made on a "SCRAD" form available at the office before commencing the previous class, otherwise the entry fee is charged. Entrants automatically qualify for Daily Championship Awards (there is no separate fee). An optional one-time sign-up fee of $35 qualifies entrants for all Series Championship Awards for which they are eligible. Any horse entering the grounds but not entered in the show is subject to a facility fee of $35 per day, plus a waiver of liability must be signed. The person making the entry takes financial responsibility for all fees incurred. An NSF charge of $45 is made on all returned checks, plus a monthly service charge.

Tie-Breaker Rules: Tie-breakers for Daily Hi-Point and Series Championship Awards are as follows: most 'equitation' points will determine a tie-winner in; Age-group, Novice, Walk-trot, and Walk-jog divisions. Most 'breed' points will determine a tie-winner in Overall Halter. Most 'pleasure' points will determine a tie-winner in Green Horse. Most 'pleasure-open' points will determine a tie-winner in All Around and Western Horse Champions. Most ‘under-saddle’ points will determine a tie winner in Pony and Green Hunter. Printout showing points earned in previous shows are available at each show. Show management will mail a printout showing any entrant's points in any particular show for a $15 fee. Disputes as to points must be made within 30 days of the show: competitors should familiarize themselves with our point system above.

·          Hunter riders must wear approved hard hats at all times while mounted.

·          Junior hunter riders (riders under 18 years) must wear approved hard hats with harness while mounted. 

·          Hunt coats/chaps are optional. 

·          Horses 5 years and under may be shown in snaffle or hackamore in which case riders may use two hands in equitation. 

·          Management reserves the right to combine or cancel any class: if classes are combined, daily and series points are awarded as if run 
separately. 

·          Management reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason including NSF checks and unpaid fees or debts to Saddle Series or WRC. 

·          Misconduct, unsporting, or unsafe conduct may result in cancellation of rider's right to compete in further daily classes or remainder of 
series. 

·          USEF Federation rules will apply; judges'/management's decision is final. 

·          Tack changes to be done at the gate (3 minutes). Please inform the announcer. 

·          Rider's age for this series is determined as of December 1, 2006. 

·          Novice riders at the start of the series remain so for the duration. 

·          Green horses and foals at the start of the series remain so for the duration.  

·          Horses’ names at the start of the series remain so for the duration. 

·          Horses eligible to enter two halter “breed” classes may chose the higher-pointed score for the purpose of Overall Halter Award.  

·          No rider under 18 years may show a stallion. 

·          Crossties, wash racks and the hot walker are for the use of boarders and may not be used by competitors without special permission. 

·          No dogs PLEASE! Dogs will not be allowed on the grounds, leashed or not. 

·          Registration papers are not required to enter halter classes. 

·          Protests must be made in writing, signed, and accompanied by a $50 fee: such fee will be returned only if the protest is upheld.  

·          Show management assumes that all entry information is truthful but will respond to evidence that Saddle Series, or USEF rules have been have been breached. 

·          Amateurs must not have derived income or trade from instructing, training, or riding, or holding themselves out as such for at least two 
years prior to this series (Oct., 2006) 

·          No refunds of entry fees will be made without a veterinarian's certificate: Veterinarian on call, Dr. James Clark.
