Daily Class
Awards:
First-place finishers in Hunter, Western, and English classes may
choose from a 'Table' award or Store Certificate, Medal
winners will receive Medals, Ribbons or cups for 1st through 6th place.
Classes with three or less, first will receive ribbon with medallion.
Points are
awarded as follows: classes of six or more entrants, 1st - 6th,
6,5,4,3,2,1; classes of five entrants, 1st - 5th,
5,4,3,2,1, etc.
Daily Hi-Point Awards: All entrants are
automatically eligible for Daily Hunter, Western, and English Hi-Point
Awards for which they qualify. All such awards are based on the same
qualifying classes as their respective Series Awards
(see Series Awards). Daily Hi-Point prizes are chosen from the following: Monogrammed
Arena Bags; Monogrammed Bridle Bags;
Monogrammed Jumper Pads; Monogrammed Saddle Covers; Monog.
Helmet Covers; Monog.
Boot Bags;
Monog.
Chaps Bags; Monog.
Garment Bags; Monog.
Grooming Bags; Monog.
Halter Bags; Monog.
Hay
Bags; Monog.
Sweat Shirts; Monogrammed Rucksacks; Engraved Trophy Halters,
and more. Special Awards:
A “Regency”
Close-contact English Saddle or Silver Show Halter
will be awarded at each Western, English, Halter show to the All Around
Performance Horse Hi-Point Champion.
To be eligible entrants must enter at least 5
English and 5
Western classes, and may only be
won once per season by the same horse/rider

(notice of a class scratch[s] must be made before the previous class commences

Entrants automatically qualify for Daily Championship Awards. An
optional one-time sign-up fee of $35 qualifies entrants for all Hunter Series
Championship Awards for which they are eligible. Horses entering any Trail
Class $20 pole fee. Horses entering the grounds but not the show are
subject to a
facility fee of $45
per day, plus a waiver of liability must be signed. The person making the entry takes financial responsibility for
all fees incurred. An
NSF fee of $45 is charged on all returned
checks.
Tie-Breaker Rules:
Tie-breakers for Daily Hi-Point and Series Championship Awards are as follows:
most 'equitation' points
determines a tie-winner in; Age-group, Walk-trot, and Walk-jog divisions. Most 'pleasure-open' points determine a tie-winner in All Around and
Western and English Horse Champions.
Most ‘under-saddle’ points determines a tie winner in Low
Hunter. Show points earned in previous shows are available at
horseshowtime.com. Disputes as to points must be made within 30 days of the show: competitors should
familiarize themselves with our
point system above.

Horse
Show Rules
· Horses
entering the grounds must enter a class or pay a fee of $45
to be schooled on the grounds; in any case a signed waiver.
of liability is
required.
· Hunter
riders must wear approved hard hats at all times while mounted.
· Hunter
riders under 18 years must wear approved hard hats with harness while mounted.
· Hunt
coats/chaps are optional
· Horses
5 years and under may be shown in snaffle or hackamore in which case riders
may use two hands in equitation
· Management
reserves the right to combine or cancel any class
· Management
reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason including outstanding NSF checks & unpaid fees or
debts to Saddle Series or WRC
· Misconduct,
unsporting, unsafe conduct may result in cancellation of rider's right to
compete in further classes or the
remainder of the series.
· USEF
rules apply; judges'/management's decision is final
· Tack
changes to be done at the gate (3 minutes).

English, show rider's
age is determined as of Jan
1, 2011(Jan show will
be Jan 1, 2012)
· AQHA,
APHA, PCQHA, IEHJA rules apply for appropriate sanctioned classes
· Hunter
Show rider's age is
determined as of Dec 1, 2011
· Horses’
names at the start of the series remain so for the duration.
· No
rider under 18 years may show a stallion.
· Crossties,
washracks and the hot walker are for the use of boarders and may not be used
by competitors without special
permission.
· All
dogs on the grounds must be on a leash at all times.
· Protests
must be made in writing, signed, and accompanied by a $50 fee: such fee will
be returned only if the protest is upheld.
· Show
management assumes that all entry information is truthful but will respond to
evidence that Saddle Series or USEF
rules have been breached.
· Amateurs
must not have derived income or trade from instructing, training, or riding,
or holding themselves out as such for
at least two years prior to this series (Oct.,2011)
· No
refunds of entry fees will be made without a veterinarian's certificate:
Veterinarian on call, Dr. James Clark.
Note: A variety of foods and beverages will be available on the
grounds.
