Children's Horse Riding
Day Camps 2013

The Objective

The Program

Willowbrook Equestrian Center offers Riding Day Camps for children who love horses but who may have had little opportunity to be around them. Beginners will learn through hands-on experience the basics of caring for a horse, how to lead and handle a horse safely, how to bridle and saddle, and how to ride safely. Parents will want to use these economical, fun camps to reinforce their child's interest in horses, and to discover whether riding lessons might be in order. Experienced students will gain concentrated instruction and develop advanced riding skills. We supply the horses and all the equipment you will need. We can also set up one-day camps on selected Sundays: call us to arrange. Gift certificates are available. Click here to download a printable application form ->Day Camp Application.pdf

Cost
$ 95 for single day
$ 260 for any 4 day camp
We supply the horse or pony and all the equipment you will need. Attendees should wear running shoes or boots with heels, tight trousers, and 'layered' upper clothing. (No tank tops please.) We supply helmets but bring a hat or cap, sufficient bottled water and a lunch. Parents/guardians must sign this release Release of Liability.pdf. Also, here is a handout containing this schedule you may download and print ->Day Camp Handout 2013 .pdf. Please book early, class size is limited
