Spring Horse Shows for 2008
Our Willowbrook Spring horse shows were created for beginner competitors who
want to learn what horse shows are all about, and trainers who want to
familiarize their students with show competition in a more relaxed, beginner's
atmosphere, but still have the variety and quality that more experienced riders
demand. Our shows thus far have produced much enthusiasm particularly
among inexperienced competitors -- of all ages. For 2008 we will offer four
Hunter show with Daily and Series Awards by division. Click here to download and

Legend
A Riders entering any Walk-trot class
may not enter classes that require cantering.
B Lead line entrants may wear English or Western attire and must
be led by a parent or handler.
C OCHSA eligible class.
D Simple changes will not be penalized.
G GSDHJA eligible class.
Note: Once you win a series award in either walk-trot or beginner
walk-trot you must move up to the next higher division the following
year/season.
Class Points and Awards First-place finishers
in all classes win a special First-Place class award. In addition, cups are
awarded to 1st
- 5th place. Points toward daily and series hi-point awards are: classes of
five or more entrants, 1st - 5th, 5,4,3,2,1; classes of
four entrants,1st - 4th, 4,3,2,1, etc.
Daily and Series Hi-Point Awards - Entrants are automatically eligible to win
division daily hi-point awards for which they qualify but must enter at least the minimum
amount of classes shown. To be
eligible for Series hi-point awards entrants must sign-up (see sign-up fees
below). Series hi-point awards go to those who accumulate the most eligible
daily hi-points in the same categories as for daily hi-point awards and have
attended at least 2 of the 4 shows. Shown below
are the Daily Hi-point awards for the March show; these may change from show-to-show
so please monitor this website or call for updates, special awards, etc.

Special Series Awards
· Hi scores in 12
& under and 13 & over will win Cruzin Coolers or Schwinn Electric
Scooters for the most points in any 2 divisions above (must have showed
in 2 shows and entered qualifying classes). Special series awards also to
x-rails and Willowbrook Medal winners.
Entry Fees: classes - $12, Medal
classes and jumpers -
$17. Series Hi-point sign-up - $35/entry; Grounds fee - $15/horse. Office fee -
$10/entry; California drug fee - $5/horse; OCHSA fee $3/entry; GSDHJA fee
$7/entry; EMT fee
$3/entry; Scratch fee - $5 per scratched entry (a
SCRADD form - available at the office - must be completed prior to announcing the
start of the previous class otherwise the entry fee is charged). Any horse entering the grounds but not entered in the show is
subject to a facility fee of $40 plus a waiver of liability must
be signed. Entrants age is as of Dec 1, 2007, otherwise rules are the
same as Saddle Series.
A Word About Dogs: Don't bring
them. They
are a potential safety hazard especially for young riders; we do not allow dogs to be
brought onto the property at any time. There is a $50 fine for having a loose
dog on the property.
