Willowbrook Riding Club began in 1992 when LoriLea and Don Franklin purchased what was then a stretch of raw desert with a vision of creating a place where horses, riders, and community could come together.
Over the decades, their hard work, dedication, and love of horses transformed the 40-acre property into one of the Coachella Valley's most established equestrian destinations. What started as open land has grown into a thriving facility featuring boarding, riding lessons, horse shows, event spaces, multiple arenas, covered riding areas, turnout pastures, and amenities designed to support both horses and riders.
Along the way, Willowbrook became more than a ranch—it became home. The Franklin family's four children grew up riding, competing, learning responsibility, and creating lifelong memories on the property. Their experiences helped shape the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere that continues to define Willowbrook today.
Throughout its history, Willowbrook has remained rooted in family values, horsemanship, and a welcoming spirit. Generations of riders, horse owners, and visitors have found a home here, creating lasting friendships and unforgettable memories along the way.
